Web and community
Beyond the app, Mis Plumas has several public sections meant to keep the project alive, gather ideas and help other breeders.
Mis Plumas Web
You can use your aviary with nothing to install at app.misplumas.es/. It is the app adapted for the browser: it shares your data and most screens with mobile, with clear limits for system-dependent features such as alarms, Google Drive, camera and QR scanning.
Sign in with your breeder ring —your federation code and your number, like E8-2J31— or with your email, plus your PIN. The account and the first upload of your aviary are done from the mobile app: the web app is a secondary device and never replaces the cloud.
When you sign out, the web uploads anything pending and removes your data from the browser. Check that your changes have finished syncing before you close or clear the browser, and keep backups from the mobile app as well.
From the browser you can view your birds' attachments —photos, videos and documents—, add them, download them and set the profile photo: they are stored in your cloud account and show up on the phone at the next sync. You can also export your data to CSV, Excel or JSON.
Two details about uploading from the browser: each file can be up to 100 MB —long phone videos usually go over, and those are better uploaded from the app—, and videos and documents are downloaded to view them, they are not played or previewed inside the web.
Alerts, Google Calendar, camera, QR scanning and Google Drive backups still belong to mobile. The browser can download manual CSV, Excel and JSON exports and supported reports. News
On the News page you can check the changes for each version: new features, improvements, fixes and important tweaks.
We recommend reviewing it after updating the app, especially if you see a new option in Settings, in the genetic calculator or in the bird form.
You can also open it from the app in Settings → About → What's new.
Suggestions
The Suggestions section is where you can see improvement ideas and vote for the ones you find most useful.
- You can review open and completed suggestions.
- Completed suggestions may appear as a historical reference.
- Each vote helps prioritise which improvements matter most to the community.
Contact
If you need help, want to report a bug or have a specific suggestion, you can use the contact form on the website.
If you cannot find a mutation in the bird form, the Can't find the mutation? button prepares a message with the species context and can also bring you to this contact page.
Before sending, try to include:
- What you were trying to do.
- Which screen it happened on.
- Which version of the app you are using, if you know.
- If it is a sync problem, the affected devices, your account identifier and the code shown in Sync status. Do not send your PIN or recovery codes.
- A screenshot, if it helps understand the issue.
